Special Collection: In vitro fertilisation - effectiveness of add-ons Infertility affects as many as 1 in 7 couples. Many of these people turn to fertility treatments for help. In vitro fertilisation (IVF) is generally considered the most advanced treatment option, and is recommended in many cases, regardless of the cause of subfertility.

Pandemics impact upon the ability to deliver specialist assessment and treatments. Examples of treatments that commonly continue during pandemics include non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs), antifibrinolytics, combined hormonal contraceptives, and progestogen. 

March is Endometriosis Awareness Month. Endometriosis is a painful condition where endometrial tissue (tissue similar to the lining of the uterus) grows outside of the uterus.
